Special Roundtable Track

The objective of the Roundtable sessions is to provide a forum for a facilitated discussion of the author’s research paper with other scholars interested in that topic. The roundtable is designed for research that is in its early stages.  In this way the research can get a “jump start” with the aid of other researchers in the field and with the help of an expert in that area facilitating the discussion.

The purpose of this activity is to encourage all researchers to get their work viewed and discussed at a stage when there is still some opportunity for influence from experienced faculty. It serves the dual purpose of 1) getting new scholars experience with presentation and with getting input to improve and 2) allowing experienced scholars the opportunity to get early input from their peers.

Therefore, we are looking for preliminary papers (2500 words) on research in progress. The concept of the roundtable is that we group 2-3 of these with a similar theme for a discussion group with a research area expert as a facilitator.
